DOC Scanner is a document scanning app that works entirely on your device.

Data we collect

None. Scanner does not collect, transmit, store remotely, or share any personal data or documents.

• Your documents (scans, imported PDFs, signatures) are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They leave your device only when you explicitly share or export them.
• Text recognition (OCR) runs fully on-device (Google ML Kit and Tesseract). Document content is never sent to a server.
• The camera scanning interface is provided by Google Play services on your device. Scanner itself requires no camera permission and receives only the finished scan.
• App lock uses your device's biometric/screen-lock system; Scanner never sees your fingerprint, face data, or PIN.

Analytics, ads, accounts

Scanner contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no user accounts, and makes no network requests of its own.

Data deletion

Deleting a document in the app permanently deletes its files from your device. Uninstalling the app removes all app data.

Android backup

If you use Android's device backup, the app's data may be included in your personal Google backup like any other app, under your Google account's control.
